Central Park...

First of all, Central Park is ENORMOUS! Derek lives near the North West corner of it, but we were down checking out the Southwest Corner of it, in Midtown. I only got to see a sliver of it, but will see more on a future Summer-ish trip to the Big Apple. Sites worthy of mentioning are the ice skating rink with the picturesque skyline behind, the Plaza Hotel (ala Home Alone 2), the Angels in America fountain/bridge and a frozen river. All pictured for your convenience below. And no, I did not see Brenda Fricker roaming the park. But I did see plenty of her pigeon and squirrel friends throughout.
