Brylee Watch 3/18 (part 1)...

Isn't my niece the cutest? A few snapshots from a beatiful Spring Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's house. More photos to come...

R.I.P. Crossroads...

Yes, downtown Salt Lake is undergoing a few changes over the next five years, with it's billion dollar major redevelopment plan. Here are a few snapshots capturing the end of what was Crossroads Mall taken from the 13th floor of my hotel. Let's take a moment of silence for the numerous stealth lunch breaks with Renee to BeBe clothing store. Ah, the memories! Gone also are the Inn at Temple Square and the Crossroad's Parking Garage. Next up for demolition, the Key Bank tower (Ka-Boom!) and the ZCMI Mall and it's adjoining parking garage. For a preview and more info on the goings on across the street, click HERE.

Happy Birthday Marley...

I can't believe Marla Hootch (a.k.a. Marley) is already the big 0-3! My how time flies by.

D'oh-blah-dee. Oh-blah-dah...

So you'll never guess who just checked into my hotel... none other than Chris Burke; better known as Corky from the 80's ABC sitcom "Life Goes On." Didn't expect that surprise today. Just goes to show you never know what-- or who is around the corner!

Brylee Watch 3/4...

A couple photos of my Bubba. She's been sick. (Hence her rosey cheeks.) She's also really sleepy to boot!

Adventures in Babysitting...

This Friday I got to babysit my 'honorary' niece Marley. Here's a couple pictures from that night. We painted a picture for her parents, colored in her new Dora coloring book, ate macaroni & cheese and chicken nuggets, had a tea party and watched Cinderella, Flushed Away and Open Season at various points through the evening. I got soaked from her bubble bath (she kept spraying me with her bath toy). We also searched an hour for her Dora pajamas (which we didn't find and had to settle for Tinkerbell pj's.) Finally she fell asleep in front of the TV about 10:30pm. I fell asleep much later. Much much later.

So that was my Friday night. Jealous much?
