Crown Fountain...

MONDAY NOVEMBER 2 One of my favorite Chicago highlights was Crown Fountain, a public art/video sculpture located in Millenium Park. Two glass towers flank a black granite reflecting pool. It opened in July of 2004, so it's a fairly new addition to the downtown area. I strongly suggest that if you have a chance, to check it out. If visiting May-October (weather permitting) you'll be able to experience it with water turned on, but even without, it was definately a sight to see!

FUN FACT:
While some of the videos displayed are nature scenes,
most attention is focused on video of local residents.

I didn't even know it's called Crown Fountain. But yes, it is one of my favorite places in Chicago, too!
