My friend Shila and I wanted to spend a Sunday without spending money (well except for the delicious lunch at The Dodo). We had intentions to hike around Silverlake, by Brighton, but as the photos clearly illustrate. It's not tank top, shorts or hiking weather up there quite yet. After eating we made our way to the bizarre Gilgal Sculpture Gardens (Just Google it). We then headed up to the State Capital Building and grounds, Memory Grove Park and Gravity Hill. See having fun doesn't always have to cost dough. (Although it still usually does!)
