My friend Jake is a Wicked fanatic, like a good percentage of most Utahns. It is quite pop-u-lar in these parts. People lined up around for blocks and they sold out almost immediately. Garrett managed to snag some extra tickets originally planned for Jake's parents until they found out it was a Sunday performance. Their loss my (and Tonya's) gain.The actors were superb, not a bad performance in the bunch. I especially loved the stage production and overall stage design. I'm a sucker that kinda thing. It is nice to have a cultured day on the town every once in a while. Speaking of, I'm thinking about checking out Avenue Q and Lion King when they come later this year. But I recommend checking out Wicked if you ever get the opportunity.
