2007 (so far) In Review... MOVIE EDITION

At the beginning of the year I vowed to watch more movies in 2007. Well with the assistance of the handy Red Box just down the street, mission accomplished! So let's re-cap the movies that I've seen over the past three months and hand out a few awards while we're at it. First award: Most Animated DVDs watched by Casey in three month's time. Hey, I'm a good babysitter. What can I say? The kids love me! Almost as much as I love the movies!

Best Picture All Around PAN'S LABYRINTH

The only film I saw in a theater, which as a Sunday matinee, I had the whole place to myself!

3-Out-of-5 Ain't Bad LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, BABEL, &THE DEPARTED
Rented Babel and The Departed the Friday before the Academy Awards. And while I first saw Little Miss Sunshine in 2006, I've watched it enough times (over-and-over) on DVD that it qualifies to be mentioned here. Still waiting for The Queen and Letters from Iwo Jima so that I will have seen all of this year's Best Picture nominees.
