Album of the Year!
This groundbreaking new HBO series exposes long-buried information discovered during their seven-year investigation of a series of unsolved crimes, and the man suspected of being at its center -- Robert Durst, scion of New York's billionaire Durst family. Disturbing themes and an engrossing blend of interviews and dramatizations make The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst a docu-series that merits further pursuit. -RT

Nightcrawler is a pulse-pounding thriller set in the nocturnal underbelly of contemporary Los Angeles. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Lou Bloom, a driven young man desperate for work who discovers the high-speed world of L.A. crime journalism. Finding a group of freelance camera crews who film crashes, fires, murder and other mayhem, Lou muscles into the cut-throat, dangerous realm of nightcrawling -- where each police siren wail equals a possible windfall and victims are converted into dollars and cents. Aided by a veteran of the blood-sport that is local TV news, Lou thrives. In the breakneck, ceaseless search for footage, he becomes the star of his own story. -OpenRoad
You may not recognize his name, but after you hear his story, it's clear why I had to honor this incredible, selfless human being on my little insignificant blog. As a huge animal lover, it's hard not to tear up. I encourage you to support his efforts HERE after you read more about his story HERE. There is indeed still good left in this world.
Directed by Oscar winner Alex Gibney and based on the book by Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright, Going Clear profiles eight former members of the Church of Scientology-whose most prominent adherents include A-list Hollywood celebrities-shining a light on how the church cultivates true believers, detailing their experiences and what they are willing to do in the name of religion. One of the most talked about films at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, this powerful documentary highlights the Church's origins, from its roots in the mind of founder L. Ron Hubbard to its rise in popularity in Hollywood and beyond. Going Clear is a provocative tale of ego, exploitation, and lust for power. -HBO Kolab Xenu or Bust!

No bones about it... Love is Love.
Watch it HERE.
I haven't watched The Amazing Race for years, and yet some how I got sucked into this season. Even with the gimmicky Blind Date/True Love concept, it's fun to watch couples race (and bicker) their way around the globe.
